Neuchâtel Grape Harvest Festival, a living tradition

The city of Neuchâtel has been hosting the Grape Harvest Festival for more than a century. For the duration of a long weekend in September, the streets of Neuchâtel, the main town of the municipality of the same name with a population of around 44,500, are the setting for an open-air festival. This festival kicks off the grape harvest, the bounty of which will be used by winemakers all over the region to produce this year’s vintage.
